Michaels Testimony

I am 32 years old. My Mom and Dad are bikers and I was introduced to drugs and beer at the age of 10. By the time I was 13, I was drinking day and night, using coke, smoking pot and stealing everything in sight. By the time I turned 14, I was the cool kid in the Cad rolling along with the gold around my neck and a 357 magnum at my side.

One night, I was laying on my bed in Chino Prison and a guy said there was a meeting going on, kind of like a Bible Study. At first, the thought of this just made me mad. The next week the same guy asked me to join him. I thought, what the heck, it will get me out of my little cell. Little did I know this one hour would change my life.

When I walked in, I met this guy who said his name was Ron Zaucha. He went on to speak of a new way of life. But not until he gave his testimony did I really begin to listen. By the time he was done, it was like someone reached out and lit a match to the pilot light in my heart. It gave me a flicker of hope! When we were done sharing a bit of our lives, we prayed. After my 4th time going to his class, my mind began to clear. And the more I read my Bible, the more I saw that this was not the life the Lord had in store for me.

Our Father says to follow Him and He will not lead us down the wrong path. He says He will send us angels to show us the right way. I do believe Ron Zaucha is an angel. The Lord is working through him to show us a better way of life while here on earth.

Lighthouse Ministries gave me the strength to go on while I was in prison. After my release, Lighthouse was there for me with a job, resources and all the help that I needed to get on my feet and care for my nine children. Because of Lighthouse Ministries, I have a future!
